5 wildly exaggerated rumors on why we changed our logo
We discreetly changed our logo for the Adrenaline 5 Halloween update and now the whole action sports world is abuzz. Rumors are really making the rounds and word on the streets is that we lost the logo in a wager that Kim Kardashian’s marriage would’ve outlasted the NBA lockout.
But if you think that’s crazy, there are a few other gossipy tales floating around, so I am just here to put them rest. I will first say that anything you heard about our logo from the guy we paid to spread rumors about our logo is untrue. This is also an opportunity to shamelessly promote my column Adrenaline 5 with a mini-Adrenaline 5 update (just like Adrenaline 5, only smaller) and then I would explain the real reason we changed the logo.
5 rumors you may have heard about our logo change
- We were forced to change it by a militant group of numeral fanatics who were enraged that we mutilated a number 5 for our sick twisted amusement.
- 78% of visitors thought the logo was a brainteaser and would spend hours trying to figure it out instead of reading the article.
- The old logo was cursed. If you turned off the lights and said Adrenaline 5 three times, Jamal Hall would appear and order you to make him a sandwich then fall asleep on your couch watching Oprah.
- The background of the logo is actually a photo of a rash that I had a few months ago and was asked to remove it by my doctor for both medical and ethical reasons.
- Our graphic artist sold it to an art gallery in Chaguanas and we were facing a lawsuit if we didn’t remove it.
In all honestly, the real reason we changed the logo was because I accidentally spilled lemonade on the old one, while chess-boxing with Dwayne Browne of Max Boost!!! After all of the lies, deceit and awkward moments of silence, it’s good to finally get the truth out there.
