Looking back at Mount Gay Regatta 2010

For everyone planning on sailing to Barbados for The Mount Gay Regatta 2011, Adrenaline Sun is taking a look back at last year’s memorable event.  The 2010 Regatta celebrated its 25th Anniversary with three days of exciting sailing and festivities. There were over 40 entries, with the popular J24 class attracting nearly half of the yachts. The introduction of the Melges 24 Class for 2010 made the event even more exciting.

The Barbados Tourism Authority had partnered with the organisers to provide assistance to a number of Caribbean entrants so that the event would continue to have an encouraging number of regional competitors. Adrenaline Sun is sure that it will be bigger and better this year.
