Yesterday was Chelsea Tuach day in Playa Venao Panama at the 2012 Dakine ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. Tuach started the day in repercharge 4 and finished the last heat of todays competition with a win in repercharge 6 to leave the beach on a high along with the entire Barbados Team and their supporters. Chelsea surfed today at 9.30am but was unfortunately eliminated in her repercharge round and placed 11th overall.

Barbados’s two other surfers left in the competition Dane Mackie and Josh Burke were both eliminated yesterday in U16 repercharge 4 in heats that were both simply unlucky, both surfers were narrowly beaten with Mackie finishing 3rd and Burke 4th in each of their heats.
