Tremaine Forde-Catwell opens with a bang at SDRR Hydraulic Karting Round
When the dust had settled after the SDRR Hydraulic Sponsor Second Season opening Karting Event, it was Tremaine Forde-Catwell who had made an impressive start to the five round series.

Racing in the Barbados Karting Association’s Frutee 2012 series continued last Sunday with the karters using the Bushy Park track in an anti-clockwise direction, Catwell started off the day with a bang when he won the first race of the day.
He slipped briefly to second place in the second race before returning to finish the last two races at the front and claim the day’s victory with 96 points in the 310 Yamaha Class.
Winner of the first season Catwell will be hoping to maintain his momentum throughout the second as he has hopes of not only the season victory but also the over champion driver’s title as well.
Second place went ot the only person to defeat Catwell on the day and that was Christian Hinds. Hinds won the second race on the day after placing third in the opener. However he was 11 points adrift of Catwell at the end of the day with 85 points.
Third place went to Javani Smith with 75 points.
As it was in the first season so it continued in the opening round of the second season, that is the battle for the 270 Yamaha Class going all the way to the wire.
This time a winner could not be determine after the four races and there was a tie between cousins, Joshua and Zane Maloney.
Throughout the day the both traded places at the front in the intense battle which is sometimes determine by the start.
Tremaine Forde Catwell was the winner of the 310 Yamaha Class on the SDRR Hydraulic sponsored Second Season first Round.
Joshua had the better of the two starts as he claimed victory in the first races but Zane immediately bounced back in the next race to even the scores with a victory of his own. As these two wenthead to head, with one race left SDRR Hydraulic Race day, it was Zane that held the four point lead.
However the victory and 25 points for Joshua, while Zane collected 21 points for secondplace was enough to see them both tied on 92 points at the end of the day. Each had two victories and two second places to their names.
Third place went to Saviola Thomas who was third with 70 points, while female competitor Krystal Kirton was fourth with 60 points, Joshua Parris fifth with 50 and Aiden Fortier sixth with 29.
Sunday saw the return of the 60cc Easy Kart and it was Megan Gilkes who finished on top after Nicholas Gilkes had his share of problems in the first and last race.
